Children's Services The University provides child care facilities at Swanston Street Children's Centre and Queensberry Children's Centre for the University Community. The Waiting List is for the current year only and opens in October of the previous year. Supply Children's Services in August/September with your name and address to receive the full waiting list package in October.
Computing support The IT Kit brings together a range of computer resources for students: licensed software, help guides and information on IT classes. It will also help you set up your university email account. Work out who your local IT support person is and make friends with him/her. You never know when you may need a little help.
The Graduate Students Association (GSA) is the student representative body for postgraduates at the University of Melbourne. GSA's members include those undertaking a Grad Dip, Postgrad Dip, Masters, PhD and other doctorates. As well as acting as an advocate and support for postgraduates, GSA organizes social events for students to meet others from across the faculties.
